The One Where MRA Apologizes
The Notorious MRA has discovered the word "Sorry". He must think it is magic - that no matter what you do, you just throw out a casual "Sowwy!" afterwards and all wrongs are magically righted.
So, as you may imagine, he says "Sowwy" A LOT!
The other day, after I spilled something and muttered something in frustration, MRA turned to me and offered his magic words, "Sowwy, Mama."
I asked "Why are you sorry? I am the one that did it." He responded, casually, as he was walking out of the room, "Well, I guess you need to say sowwy to yourself then."
All I could do was stand there with my mouth open and giggle a bit. Wouldn't it be something, if we could just apologize to ourselves and then forgive ourselves as quickly as we forgive others when they offer the exact same word?
